diggerman
Has anyone fitted usb charging points for their camera. Am planning to fit a double outlet flush fit, hard wired, fused (panel) USB between the seats in the boot/cockpit wall. I will then be able to have the gopro and its piggy back wifi module on constant charge. Would be interested in you experiences and components used. Guest
Peter, This is what I ended up doing, here. I think it would work well enough at the rear of the transmission tunnel. You could slip the small box down just behind the seats as well. There are plenty of choices of enclosures to fit you space, and the small buck converters work great. ChrisC
I just purchased a large battery USB Power Bank battery. Its got more than enough power for keep my GoPro 3 powered all day and I can still take a charge out for the phone. Cost was about £20 from amazon. Mount it with velcro, and charge it over night before the next days blatting. We also carry it with us for all family outings, so phones, sat navs, cameras are never out of charge when needed.
