Our sprint is being held on the Sunday, however on the Saturday as in previous years is the British Motorsport Marshals Club Sprint.

This does not form part of our championship but is normally well supported as a chance to either get some more experience of Curborough or simply to make a full weekend.

The Regulations and entry form are available here

BTT,

27 signed up so far so still space for more to have a go.

folllowing queries regarding clubmans entries and novice status please see the following from the regulations :-

A novice for the purpose of the Novice Trophy is a person holding a MSA Non-Race National B Competition Licence for the first time in 2014 and taking part in their first competitive season of Motor Speed events. Excepting that they may have competed ONLY in the Lotus 7 Club’s own Club sprints at Curborough during the previous year. (To encourage new competitors).

So what does this mean ?

If you have never competed anywhere before and you want to dip your toe in the water this year without entering the championship you can enter & compete at the two Curborough events this year and remain eligible for the novice cup if you enter the championship next year.

If you have competed elsewhere previously other than the two Curborough events last year (2013) then you are not eligible for the novice cup.

Of course regardless of being eligible for the novice cup, everyone is welcome to enter and compete against the rest of those in your class either within the championship or as a clubmans entry, if your unsure feel free to ask any questions

After a great first event at Blyton Park, it's time to get your entry in for Curborough, this will be running on the normal circuit and is your first chance to get an Edward Lewis cap for the year.

For anyone not entered in the championship, don't worry this is a clubmans event so as long as you've got an MSA Nat B license, The correct racewear and of course either a Caterham or Lotus 7 then why not enter and join in the fun.

Hi Phil,

there's no problem doing the entry online now then phone Sam with payment details after pay day. There is no online payment facility.

You just pop out for a day and people start to question your identity - you are very naughty boys *nono*

Below is a guide to how to tell Gill and Lynn apart:

They are both 21 years old, with long blond hair, charming personalities and they want to change the world. Gill is 5 ft 11 inches, Lynn is 6ft 1inch.

If you are still struggling Gill's racesuit is black and pink, Lynn's racesuit is blue and white

Ok? Got it now *rolleyes*

Oh and it looks like they are both competing in Class 4 *biggrin*
