I'm interested - what synchro's and what's it's history - would need to sell my SPC Quaiffe semi helical to fund the change............

ratios in my box are

2.39 - 1.54 - 1.21 - 1:1 - .87

Main reason for change for me is the 2.04 first which I want for Curborough..........

Anybody interested in my gearbox (sorry to "hikack" your thread but hopefully it will be mutually beneficial.)

I thought the Vx required a long input shaft with 12mm cut off in a Seven? I think Quaiffe do a shaft specifically for the Vx that is different from the "long" and "short" input shafts? Can anybody verify?

Guys, not wishing to confuse matters, but input shaft for 6 speed to X-flow needs to be cut down by 16mm to make it fit a VX.

Trevor/Greg, if input shafts are similar you are welcome to do a swap

Kind regards

Anthony

VX the real way sideways

I have got another one of these in my garage

Ratios are the same 2.04 first etc.

but the main-case and lid are standard.

Dont know about cost but may also consider P/X for something with better ratios than the std 5-speed

In which case I would no longer need my BGH improved syncro std ratio 5 speed.

If you see what I mean *confused*
