Bob Corb
Can anyone tell me what the three pronged plug is for (near the ecu)? It has brown/black, red/blue and purple /black wires. I was wondering if it was a barometric pressure sensor? If it is does anyone know where I can get one at less than Caterham Prices? Grim Reaper
On a similar subject....I have recently purchased an engine loom from Caterham (EU2 connector) to fit to my Emerald ECU,and there does not appear to be a suitable connector to allow fitment of the Lambda sensor which was supplied with the kit. Am I missing something or have I got the wrong loom/Lambda probe? Why is nothing ever easy?
Bob Corb
Fred Cheers for the info, I went to my local Webcon stockist at lunch and orderred a 16137039 equivalent map sensor. Grim The EU2 lambda sensor uses a 4 pin connector which is square, the EU3 type has the 4 pins in a row I think. If anyone has a spare EU2 type which they would consider selling I'd be grateful... I used to have an EU2 one which came with the car but I sent it back for a measily £30 refund. Caterham want £120 for a new one. Ooops. Grim Reaper
It sounds like I have an EU3 sensor, the 4 pins are in a line on its connector,I'll have to work out which one on the loom is its supposed mate. Looks like I'll have to find some other way of connecting them together then. Thank you!
