evotell
It looks as if I have some spacers missing that locate the rear calipers to the hub, 4 in the pack, but it looks like it has 2 per bolt meaning I need
Andy Green
If you are talking about the thick washer spacers used on the bolts of the Sierra brakes then there is 1 per bolt.
evotell
There is no way that the rear calipers will go on with one spacer, unless our spacers are a differnt length. With one space the caliper fouls on the rear arm
Englishmaninwales
That's odd. Certainly Andrew is correct, for standard rear calipers, that there is one spacer per caliper fixing bolt, hence 2 per side. I'm not sure about updated rear calipers. myothercarsa2cv
Do you have the arms on the right way round? They are relieved I think to clear the calipers. Does it fit over the disc ok with one spacer?
evotell
OK. Figured out what the problem is, it's the idiot trying to fit it. 😳 The sliding part of the calliper was not moving, once I had freed it up it went straight on with one spacer per bolt.
