moomin Posted December 17, 2002 Share Posted December 17, 2002 Miss, my throat is much better than it was last week - my nose is running though. butbutbut... my ears have gone funny. is it because I deafened myself with my pedal car at the weekend, or do you think my ears have got my cold? it makes me feel wonky cos my balance is all funny as well. I suggest much blatting of the pedal car and also, maybe sitting with a towel over your head, over a bowl of steamy water with some olbas oil (or similar) in, to flush out your sinuses and hopefully make you less wonky. 😬 Please note that you should not try both of these things together...the water tends to splash out when you go round corners and you might burn yourself Rach Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I'm not sure about doing more pedal karting though. in fact, it might be the fact that I pedalled my kart for best part of two hours on Saturday with nothing on my head (except my glasses). it wasn't until I stopped that I realised how deaf I had made myself... moomin Posted December 18, 2002 Author Share Posted December 18, 2002 I was tempted to get the pedal car out this morning, but it was a bit too chilly, and needed to get to work in good time (i.e. could do without having to get dressed up, swap cars around etc.) I do need to get an appropriate item of headwear, but it needs to fulfil lots of functions: windproof, warm, not fly off, vaguely waterproof.
