Nigel Riches
Hi Elie, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, If your inertia switch is the same type as I have from the Rover, Brit Leyland catalogue then you could possible source the connector part locally from a bent Rover car. or this link will get you a complete switch and connector ready to assemble http://www.revingtontr.com/shop/product_display.asp?mscssid=8ATTB781HCM09JG32EW0QTGKUH8DFLW7&ProductID=RTR8346K Regards, Nigel. oldbutnotslow
Why not just disconnect it? It cuts the supply to the fuel pump so all you need to do is connect the 2 wires together.

diggerman
Why not just disconnect it? Please dont encourage dangerous mods. The inertia switch is there to cut of fuel supply in case of an accident and therefore prevent a fire. Peter
weeman
Quoting diggerman: Why not just disconnect it? Please dont encourage dangerous mods. The inertia switch is there to cut of fuel supply in case of an accident and therefore prevent a fire. Peter I've had three experiences of Inertia Switch failure. Twice on the outside lane of a motorway at 70 mph and once whilst over taking on a country road. Never again will such a device be fitted to my car. Just an alternative viewpoint, not a comment designed to start a 'keyboard war'.
David Mirylees
I used a Land Rover switch (nice red button 😬). To connect it I just used mini spades which were a nice tight fit.
