oilyhands
I installed a conversion using and Emerald M3DK last Saturday to an EU3 1600K using the first prototype EU3/EU2 adaptor from Karl at Emerald. After a 5 minute wiring correction of a single crank sensor feed and two seconds of cranking the engine burst into life and has been running happily ever since. Hopefully the productionised version of this will be available very soon. It has proved the viability of a simple plug in adaptor. Oily

tiddy1
So when will there be an adapter available to run a VVC engine with a VVC loom? I really want to run my VVC with throttle bodies the re-wiring issue seems like a pain Simon

V7 SLR
Controlling a VVC engine isn't just about converting the loom. The ECU itself has another job to do which it currently can't... like controlling the VVC mechanism. Karl is working on it... but as with all things, it takes time. No date scheduled last time I spoke to him (a while back admittedly).
