Jeff S
I will unfortunately be skiing. As someone who has increased their X powers rev limit to 7600, I did it without fitting forged pistons and therefore face the risks attached. My thoughts were that as the car would mainly be used for sprints it would only be at the high end of the rev band for short periods May be worth considering if you go down this route Jeff
Graham Howard
That's interesting Jeff. I always assumed that you must have forged pistons. I am hoping that the ECU change will give more torque below maximum revs as is claimed. Graham
Grahame W
Matthew If there is space and at the risk we will have power tested every ported 1600 car in existence might like to pop along Grahame
Matthew Willoughby
You would be more than welcome Grahame. It would be an interesting comparison between yours and Dad's given the similar history of the cars.

Leadership Team Mcalvert Posted February 7, 2014 Leadership Team Share Posted February 7, 2014 Hi All, Does anyone attending this rolling road session fancy playing reporter for the day and collecting material for an article in LF? I think that the comparison between cars would make for a really interesting piece. I would come along myself, but unfortunately, it conflicts with the CTI visit. If anyone is able to help, I'd really appreciate it. I'll happily turn rough notes into a finished article - it would just need someone to take some pictures and details down. Many thanks Michael. Graham Howard
Looking at their website they are able to save all the runs to a datapack which can be transferred to a memory stick. I am sure this information will help with the article. I am happy to bring a memory stick with me to collect this and pass the data to Michael. Leadership Team robj Posted February 13, 2014 Leadership Team Share Posted February 13, 2014 Sorry but my car will still be in bits (after a diff and gearbox rebuild)... Fortunately Northampton MotorSport did a power and torque run before it was disassembled. I will be there, Robert
