Any MSA rule changes for 2014 ?

Does anyone know if the MSA are going to be making any technical or safety changes for 2014 for sprinting ?

 

I am hoping to do a few more sprints next year than I have for a while and I would like to plan my winter maintenance and budget.

The MSA Blue book for 2014 is now available here

had a quick look through and the any changes are marked in red.

 

to me at first glance there does not seem to be any major changes for next year.

Not an MSA change as such, but I understand from talking to people at Curborough in September, that the clubs associated with the Midland speed championship are going to remove the requirement for a windscreen from the road going kit car classes for 2014.

Good news for anyone with an aero screen who usually end up in a slick shod non road going class.

At last Nigel! I did several events last year competing against launch control etc, just because of the Aero.

Thanks for the link to the Blue Book. There doesn't seem to be anything in particular that will affect us that I can see which is great news.
