SvenDriver
I've fitted a rear window aeoroscreen (DIY) to my 7. I've made a D shaped laminate of 5mm waterproof ply and clear acetate that is the same size as the rollbar. This gives me an unhindered rear view but has changed the airflow inside the cabin. It seems to give the heater 1/2 a chance. Now I am conscious that the main airflow is across my shoulders/ears (from behind the doors) and just over the top of my head. At xx Mph in 5c that is cold. My thoughts were that side 'windows' could be made that fit between the rear of the door and the rollbar or that it would be possible to modify a roof just to keep the bit from the rollbar back. Has anyone done anything like this or am I being a wimp?

stevefoster
Whimps are great for cruising at high speeds. You can talk to your passenger! Combined with what you have done would make it like an SLK perhaps... /Steve My racing pics, 7 DIY, race prep.
