Rachael
☹️ Sorry Alex ate them all last time he was unwell...I could buy you some at lunchtime and drop them off at your house this evening if that helps Why are you going to Nottingham? moomin
thanks miss, but I need them NOW! I'll have to use chocolate to ease the pain instead as that's all I have to hand. I'm going to Nottingham because isn't that where you get Strepsils from? M. www.megabird.co.uk

Rachael
Oh Poor Moomin, You need to drink some nice hot drinks (not too hot though or they will burn you). Lemsip would be good if you can find some. You could also try gargling with some soluble aspirin and water. Try some strepsils or other throat sweets as well. I hope you feel better soon Rach

Rachael
If you are coughing as well then you could try Buttercup Syrup stuff...I don't think it has much in the way of active ingredients, but it soothes your throat - either that or put some honey in your hot drink! Rachael
I will do later 😬 Actually Thursdays are good days because our company provides a bus to take us into town at 12.30 and we don't get back until nearly 2.30 and I finish at 4 and I have the day off tomorrow Now what shall I get Alex for Christmas? dave hard
all illnesses can be dealt with one of two options: 1) large whiskies 2) beer followed by curry In this case I am suggesting option 1, which has already been put forward by another of my learned colleagues from the School of Alcohol Based Vetinerary Science. And going home ALWAYS helps Caterham 21 VHPD - one of the few

KevSull Too
Best cure for most things of the runnng/sniffing variety Large glass 1/2 full of whiskey, large spoonfull (or two) of honey, top up with boiling water. To be drunk while in a piping hot bath. 😬You laugh at me because I'm different, I laugh at you because you're all the same. 😬
Rachael
Moom I don't know what you wrote, I have only just returned from a very long lunch but I don't think you are any sort of tw@t! Rach
moomin
Let's hope Alex didn't see what I wrote either. It took a while for the penny to drop that me making secret christmas present suggestions for Alex here wasn't very secret - I nearly spoiled the whole thing, hope I got away with it. Anyway surely I am the sort of tw@t who gets given a month expert tuition in racing cars but spanks it all away in arrogance? Rachael
Oh don't worry, I don't know if Alex saw it, but he knows that I am not getting him anything - he was told that if he didn't put in his request before I did my one day Christmas shopping at Bluewater two weeks ago then he wouldn't get anything!! He seems fine with that If it was a good idea though mail me offline 😬 Rach
