Ian_Brandon
Just bought myself a 1967 Marcos 1600GT and rather than trying to tune the old motor I'm thinking I might get something that's ready done. Happy to go to 1700/1800 but not looking for an all steel screamer, it's for road/classic hill climbs so looking to maintain mid range and not spend a fortune Does anyone know who the people to talk to are for say 140-150bhp xflows these days. Interested in any thoughs. Ian
Area Representative Kingsley Young Posted October 12, 2013 Area Representative Share Posted October 12, 2013 I personally used Steve Parker Racing Steve is very good with X Flows. His numbers are below. 01362 820831 07986961948 Kingsley.
George C
You could talk to Scholar Engines who have been doing Xflows since the beginning of time or Vulcan Engineering or Burton or Wilcox. There are many more. Good luck.

Terry Field
Steve at Vulcan engineering did mine: 156bhp from a 1700. Great engine and fantastic low down torque, but it ain't cheap! Ian_Brandon
Thanks for the input - Nigel has a BDR but I remember now he has been to Ratrace. Comments re cost are noted and that is why I am looking for probably the Dave Andrews of the crossfow world, somebody who knows the engine inside out but doesn't have all the overheads of the big firms.
