Guest
What difference will I notice when 205/55 x 13 tyres are fitted on 6 inch as opposed to 8 inch rims I have ended up with 2 sets of rears an 8" pair and a 6" pair with the same size tyres which has confused me Will be fitted to an R500 if that effects the answer
Guest
BTTT, I am guessing from the no responses it's not a safety issue then
Pendennis
There is no safety issue. But overall diameter will change with the difference wheels. Thus, the overall tyre diameter would be larger if those tyres are fitted to the 6" wheel as against the 8" wheel
Member Jonathan Kay Posted October 13, 2013 Member Share Posted October 13, 2013 The tyre manufacturers usually list what they consider to be compatible sizes of wheel and tyre. What are your tyres? Jonathan
Guest
Thanks , learnt something new And with my current skill level the variance in rolling diameter is unlikely to be noticeable D
