Simon.Rogers1
Looking for a decent lathe. Something around the size of the Boxford CUD. A Colchester student is a little on the large size. Anything considered. 07920843146
Titanium7
Our biggest seller to the education market is the WARCO 1330 but there are a good range or gear head or belt driven lathes around that sort of size. Most Model engineers rate WARCO above Chester and other far east imports. Personally I have saving pennies for a 250 or 280 variable speed lathe. here
The Pikey
My Myford Super 7 does everything I want it to and more. Brilliant machines and for that size of lathe I'd buy nothing else. J
Simon.Rogers1
I have been looking at the Warco 240 but that is at the top of the budget and no tooling. Not much around at the moment. I think I would prefer a little older with all the tools and add on's?
