Eric McLoughlin
Although Mr Plummer "sang" Edelweiss in the film "Sound of Music" - although I think he was dubbed, Vince Hill got the song into the UK singles charts.

Area Representative Crudders Posted February 3, 2003 Area Representative Share Posted February 3, 2003 Well I was going to say "Sisters Are Doin' It For Themselves" by Eurythmics MM, but I don't suppose I can now? Agree about the "50% right" bit though Noger - I quite liked them, even saw them live, until a techie flatmate bought one of the very first CD players (20 odd years ago!) and "Brothers in Arms" was one of only a handful of rock albums available on CD, and certainly the only one he had, for what seemed like an eternity ☹️ ☹️ ☹️ Will To Live only just survived. Violet Elizabeth
Life in a Northern Town - Dream Acadamy Freddie and the Dreams was my first ever concert...so I am told, think I was two ? Dire straights -- hmmm, Making Movies was the first album I bought, but I havent got it on CD, occasionally I hear DS on the radio and think "Hey this is good". But it has just dated sooo much. In the same way as listenting to the Lisa Stansfield stuff now ... it's just so overproduced, but she was a great singer. I think producers have a lot to answer for.
