HELP - Attaching rear brake lines to calipers

Recommended Posts

I have some new mintex pads & discs to fit to the rears (fronts have just been done) & I think I will bite the bullet & replace the solid brake lines with braided hoses as this seems a much nicer solution. *thumbup*

Did you need new P clips Ian? I have some spare rivets if they have to be drilled out.

Hmmm the "sport you play", very cagey... Rugby is away to begin... Tom Woodis Sounds very like Tom Woods... Am I close...?

If only I was an England Rugby player. *smokin*

I'm afraid the truth is far less glamorous

No ..... left inner ones attached and restrained L-bracket for end fitting of new flexi hose with jubilee clips. Will take photos for you. I have a large selection of rivets if you need any.
Could you post up the photos by any chance? I think your mod matches what I have in mind for my car.Quoting Jonathan Kay:
Do you mean "entranced"?

Just had the reply from Darren:

I believe they are round the wrong way online.

Ideal for racers only because they are changing pads frequently so can take the caliper off quickly.

Yes, you can use them on the road.

Quick and helpful, as always.

Jonathan

PS: Thanks, John, nice to know they're not wasted. :-)
