Martin J
I have some new mintex pads & discs to fit to the rears (fronts have just been done) & I think I will bite the bullet & replace the solid brake lines with braided hoses as this seems a much nicer solution. Did you need new P clips Ian? I have some spare rivets if they have to be drilled out.
Stationary M25 Traveller
No ..... left inner ones attached and restrained L-bracket for end fitting of new flexi hose with jubilee clips. Will take photos for you. I have a large selection of rivets if you need any.

Gasmaninaseven
Are there any possible issues at IVA? I wonder if it worth changing for flexis after rather than before the test...

Jonathan Kay
I've asked Darren at Caterham Parts about their recommendations for road use, and whether the photos are the wrong way round. Jonathan

7 wonders of the world
Rigid brake lines into a floating caliper can not be viewed as an engineering solution 😔, makes me wonder how the get through IVA in this manner. Flexy's on the rear - it's a no brainer unless your happy to cut corners on your brakes

Jonathan Kay
Just had the reply from Darren: I believe they are round the wrong way online. Ideal for racers only because they are changing pads frequently so can take the caliper off quickly. Yes, you can use them on the road.Quick and helpful, as always. Jonathan PS: Thanks, John, nice to know they're not wasted. :-)
