Weber 40 DCOEs

I recently bought a Volvo P1800 that had just been converted to new twin 40DCOE Weber carburettors. to my knowledge, the new carbs have only done 300 miles.

 

I've now taken the Webers and linkage off and replaced them with SUs for originality and want to sell the Weber set up but not sure what it's worth ????

If you jet them to a 2.0 zetec spec and they are clean looking, then ebay seems to get you around£350-£400, just been looking to sell my Caterham ones there. This assumes they are Italian and not the more recent Spanish ones.

Hmm, I thought 45s went for £350-400 whereas 40s tend to go for a lot lower maybe only as much as £150-ish

Not sure to be honest, it's possible the sets i was looking at included the manifold and a throttle linkage, it was just a quick scan of sold items.
