O/T Nissan X-Trail Brakes

☹️I have an 18 month old X-Trail that has done 15000 miles and recently developed a juddering when braking at low speed. The main dealer has checked it and said new discs and pads are required on the front. As these are not a warranty item they now want £350 to fit replacements. They apparently took photos and measurements which they sent to Nissan UK, but they have rejected any claim under warranty. I accept that discs & pads are consumables, but not at such a low mileage / young age.

Does anyone have any experience / suggestions as to how I can pursue such a matter.

You have rights under the Sale of Goods Act that are independent of any warranty. You'd need to show that the goods weren't of satisfactory quality.
