Garth
Just set up a starcom system with bluetooth. Unit tied to wires under dashboard. Low level constant hum/interference in headphones. Any suggestions to fix this? Cheers, Garth
Gnockoff
Any problems I had with mine ( digital) I phoned Starcom, very helpful. Brian
Ian B
If it varies in pitch with revs then probably interference from alternator, either via power supply or direct pick up (a noise suppressor in the power feed to the starcom may help). If it's more of a general hum then could be a ground loop (ensure the starcom and blue tooth receiver are directly and closely connected to the same earth). There are other possibilities but difficult to diagnose on a forum so probably best to call starcom as they have experience of the issue.
