Area Representative skeetsy Posted August 2, 2013 Area Representative Share Posted August 2, 2013 Hi all, Nothing to do with me but I saw this and thought it was pretty cheap..... I wonder why? Assuming it's all in order then I guess it would be a bit of a bargain for someone All the best Richard
the_village_idiot
That does look a bit of a bargain. Guess it would need a bit of a refresh if it hasn't been driven for several years but that's mainly fluids and perhaps the pads and tyres so £750 tops. zetec
Cant see its too much of a bargain. Its low milage but has been stored, which we all know, could cause issues. But the Price is in superlight r bracket.

I was wondering about the weight to. If it's true it has taken a lot of effort to get it there. I am probably one of the most manic weight watchers on this forum... MADMALC
The dry sump was an extra on SLR in 1998 when I purchased mine. It should have a 'number'.

simonpa
Apparently available in Ireland as well http://cars.donedeal.co.uk/vintagecars-for-sale/caterham-superlite-r/5249687
Leadership Team SLR No.77 Posted August 3, 2013 Leadership Team Share Posted August 3, 2013 Looks a good buy, lower end of SLR values and likely to have a pretty bomb-proof retained value in the future. IMHO anyone considering upgrading a current K-Series car wouldn't go far wrong swapping to a car such as this one. Ideally it will need a dry sump if its going to be tracked regularly. Stu. And it's quite a bit more expensive in Ireland too.... All the best Richard
