andy couchman Posted July 29, 2013 Share Posted July 29, 2013 I have an old Dunlop Major car footpump. Big strong metal thing; could survive a nuclear explosion. Ordered a new hose off t'internet for it, which arrived but the fitting (8mm?) is too small. Anyone know: a) What size fitting goes into the pump? b) Where to buy such a thing? Can you tell us any more about the fitting, and post a photo, with the one that doesn't fit next to it? If it's threaded can you work out size it is by trying different bolts into it? Can you look upstream on the tube and see if there's another position that you could replace from?
