andy couchman
I have an old Dunlop Major car footpump. Big strong metal thing; could survive a nuclear explosion. Ordered a new hose off t'internet for it, which arrived but the fitting (8mm?) is too small. Anyone know: a) What size fitting goes into the pump? b) Where to buy such a thing? Think I can use the new hose and just change the pump end connection. Thanks all. Andy

Stationary M25 Traveller
Why not take the pump and new hose to someone like Pirtek, or your local hydraulic hose place and get them to sort out the appropriate bits and join it all together for you. Jonathan Kay
Not beaten yet. Apart from SM25T's solution... Can you tell us any more about the fitting, and post a photo, with the one that doesn't fit next to it? If it's threaded can you work out size it is by trying different bolts into it? Can you look upstream on the tube and see if there's another position that you could replace from? Birkin S3 ZA.
I would guess 1/8 NPT / BSP try and fit a 1/8 grease nipple Chris.
