c7jhc
I see that Classic Silicone Hoses have two sets of Silicone hoses for a K series - standard heater and Clayton heater. How do I ascertain which I need? I have a 2005 Roadsport 1.8 140.

Jonathan Kay
Have you asked the company how to tell? They were very easy to communicate with when they were originally developing the Caterham set. Jonathan
c7jhc
I have sent an email - I'll see what they say. Thanks.
Graham D
Is it only me, or does anyone else think £198 is a bit steep? Time to get creative maybe? Edit - Having looked at the prices on Caterham's site it's not as bad as I first thought. Edited by - Graham D on 26 Jul 2013 20:59:
Jonathan Kay
I also wrote to the company and asked about the differences and how they could use their website to help select the correct one. Just got an answer: they're at Silverstone this weekend and will look at it on Monday. Jonathan
Jonathan Kay
When I bought mine a few years ago they were the cheapest if you included the heater hoses and clamps. (In the end I reused the original clamps.) Silicone hoses seem to be a component where buyers are happy with all the suppliers. Lots on this in the archives. c7jhc
I haven't had any response as yet - if they're at Silverstone that would explain why. Hopefully I'll get a reply next week too.
David Ford
I also have found Classic Silicone Hoses easy to communicate with and very helpful. They recently manufactured a complete set of hoses for my HPC 2.0 VXE 16v (45s & heater) using my original hoses as patterns (with some modifications to make the layout neater). All the hoses fitted perfectly with no leaks whatsoever. *thumbup*
