For the boat anchor fans out there….

Set of unmolested SBD supplied 87.5mm Omega intruder pistons mounted on QED supplied H pattern forged rods with ARP big end bolts. £450

Removed from 270bhp steel Vx as gone with slipper pistons at last rebuild.

SBD/Jenvey aluminium inlet manifold prepped to mount Jenvey 48 taper throttle bodies on VX. £80

Set of new/unused Magnecor Competition spark plug leads for Vx with std Coilpack. £45

Can send photos on request.

Above plus P&P as cost

Thought I would try on here before heading to Pistonheads.

Gary,

YHM about the manifold.

Text of email is as follows:

"Please can you let me know the Jenvey part number of the manifold or could you let me know the diameter of the hole the throttle bodies connect to. The standard part is MV07 and has a 45mm diameter, but I do not know if the SBD one is standard or modified; however, I'd guess that the TBs taper from 48mm to 45mm, so it should be standard.

Also, is the manifold ported at all at the cylinder head side?

I have a C20XE with a JRE Ultimate manifold and tapered throttle bodies, but the manifold is designed for an oversized cylinder head port, whereas mine has only a small amount of 'porting', so I have a step between the manifold and the cylinder head."
