EFA Posted November 28, 2002 Share Posted November 28, 2002 I have a few pairs of substandard carbon fibre front wings which are wider and smaller radius than the Caterham OEM spec. My high personal standards have rendered them substandard, so they are for sale at £180 per set of two. They will only fit over 13" wheels (ACB10's etc.) and are dimensionally identical to thise on K2 RUM if you click the link below and examine the pics (and Olivia....) The extent of their substandance extends to the fact that they are slightly pinholed. They are still damn shiny! If you have carbon from another well known source, these items are still quite possibly better than those "perfect" items despite their substandance. There are only two moulds in existance for this type of front wing, and you have neither. So pray tell how can you make a wing "like this"?? You know nothing of its composite specification either. However you are obviously an expert through the well recognised connection between your profession as a landscape architect, and the hi-tech composites industry. V7 - I can do singles if you like for £150, there may be some more seconds before we get this right - the issue is that Advanced Composites have changed the makeup of their carbon pre-preg and around 75% are coming out with very slight imperfections.
