Rampmonkey
😬 Ta-daaaaaaaa! Regulator failure! £30 - fixed! All of the issues here-in created as the regulator died. Recommendation for anyone in the Aylesbury area - Rees & Allen Auto Electrical 20, Park St Industrial Estate Osier Way, Aylesbury, buckinghamshire, HP20 1EB Tel: 01296 483586 Didn't just fix the thing and take payment, but rather they took the time to explain what was going on and how everything worked (or didn't in this case!). They even took an alternator apart in stages to show what was going on and where! Excellent service. *idea*Note - If you have the Lucas FRA252 Alternator as provided by RedLine, there is no need to use that 'buried' connector that sits spare in the wiring loom! Rampmonkey
😬 Many thanks for all of the above! Once again, in the pursuit of automotive independance the technical part of my brain has been saturated with new things to consider! Roll on the next Caterham-ism based fault....
