Freshly powder coated, only been on my car for 2 miles (to MOT and back) before I took it off. Complete change of plan forces sale. If you have tried to find one of these you know they is like rocking horse **** £425 Due to size, to be collected from Ringwood, Hants. CaterBram
Is it a tall cage or standard hieght ? If tall i'll snap your hands off ?
CaterBram
And is it the style which you can still have your windscreen on for the road ?
cskip
Chris - YHM Zetec - I will take a photo and send it later this evening. This is a standard height cage. It is the type with a single diagonal tube one the top and can have a windscreen fitted.
Area Representative Golf Juliet Tango Posted June 15, 2013 Area Representative Share Posted June 15, 2013 Interesting. I presume it would be ideal for my 96 Scholarship car. (i.e. Ital axle, race chassis and about to be rebuilt)

cskip
GJT - I guess so. The cage was fitted to my '94 Live Axle car. I am not aware of any major differences between the live axle chassis', other than the much earlier short cockpit version.

Ivaan
If this cage is put on the car, do you need to wear a crash hat all the time? I'm very tempted to buy it for the R1, but don't fancy wearing a lid on every blat. Clive
DaveMorris
I had/have one on the L.A. car and never wore a helmet unless on track. WOuld recommend use of suitable foam protection above the head, but if in a roll-over situation on the road I'd rather have a cage and no helmet as opposed to just a roll bar. (Opinions may vary on this however), Dave
