205/55 Speedo Calibration

Hi All

 

I have just purchased an ex 2011 Academy car that has had a significant cosmetic make cover, as my car to return me back to Caterham ownership after a 10 year absence. The make over included the swap to 205/55 R13 CR500 on the rears, and on the way home I noticed the speedo was not a accurate as it could. I have looked up the speedo calibration process and the revs per mile from the Avon site, but I don't know the number pulses per revolution from the wheel sensor.

 

So can someone assist me with the following.

 

- The correct setting for a 2011 Academy car, so I can reverse calculate the correct setting for 205/55R13 CR500's?

 

or

 

- The number of pulses per wheel revolution?

 

or

 

- The correct setting for 205/55R13 CR500's?

 

My speedo is the electronic type with the single button.

The correct speedo setting for 205/55R13 85V CR500's (according to the document I have) is:

 

039558

 

Using the correct setting (from same document) for my 195/45R15 78V lead to a 10% under read (according to 2 GPS units) across the whole speed range (10-70 MPH officer), so I upped my settings by about 9% (just to keep the speedo slight under what the GPS said.
