Molecular--Bob
Need to buy some new wheel nuts and was wondering what size and thread i would need for a 1991 dedion. It's for revolution alloys if that has any bearing on the answer.
Phil B
Bob, Wheel studs should be M12 x 1.5mm pitch. This is used on Ford and many other makes. The important question is how long. E-bay is a source though most sellers offer the longer (+1/2" or +1") studs. phil

Area Representative Paul Richards Posted June 10, 2013 Area Representative Share Posted June 10, 2013 If I'm not mistaken, are revolution nuts not specific to the wheels. In other words, I think they have a long shoulder that fits through the wheel. You may have to obtain from Revolution.
Area Representative Crudders Posted June 10, 2013 Area Representative Share Posted June 10, 2013 MB - if Mick and John can't help (and they usually can) try Rally Design here who have a large selection of the sleeve nuts needed for Revolution alloys. Avonbar used to be a good source for these but they appear to have ceased trading and the phoenix company doesn't offer the same product range. Most likely to be type SN30 if metric but older Fords used 7/16" UNF threads which need nut type SN29. I don't know whether the components used in the De Dion rear ends (I have a live axle myself) go back as far as the imperial thread era but in the absence of confirmation from someone who knows, worth checking. If you have a spare or readily accessible seat belt bolt, that will be 7/16" UNF so you could try one of your old nuts on one.
