When grabbing your soldering iron, do so by the handle.

Grabbing it by the metal bit results in a large amount of pain ☹️

My hand is now this colour *arrowright* *mad*

I do however have now have a RS232 socket in my glove box, that when I plug a laptop into and run nice mr Paton's software tells me what my ECU is doing.

And for Moomoo's benefit, it says I've only done 5850 revs top and that was today after 170 miles (Roger King wrote on my invoice (which is a posh word for bill but with ENORMOUS numbers on it) that the engine should not be driven hard for the first 200 miles)

Honda Passion Orange, 640kg *eek*, and proud of it 😬

...also do not attatch the schools brand new digital multimeter to a piezo-electric bunser burner lighter...as the huge voltage generated will cause it to die 😳

...also it is not good practice to look up "gunpowder" in the school dictionary, find the recipe, and then make some in "Science Club"...and then don't see what happens when you waft a bunsen burner flame over the top of it. It WILL explode, there WILL be a hole in the chemy lab bench...and you WILL have to go to the nurse with a singed face.
