SJY910 Posted November 24, 2002 Share Posted November 24, 2002 When I took out the seats of my superlight today I noticed that the base of the seat was cracked. ☹️ I haven't noticed anything but I naturally can't just leave it like this. Oddly enough I just happen to have fibreglass & the rest after a little mishap with my spare nose cone in August... BTW Are the passenger & driver seats exactly the same? If they are I will fix it and get the passenger seat on the adjustable runners. The funny thing about it all is that I got the seat out to check what it would be like to sit on the floor with a moulded foam seat instead of the R500:s. It is strange however that the seats crack like that it say "Race seats" on them after all and they don't seem to last more than a couple of track days. My ❗ Peter - have you put weight on 🤔] Hmmmm... I didn't realise that the kevlar seats were only half kevlar. The reinforcing stuff looks the same as my GRP Tillets..
