Bradley equipped bespoke Caterham 4-wheel braked trailer with, winch, ramps, 8x spare tyre holder, and jerry carrier, corner straps, etc

Supplied with my car this spring, surplus to requirements - clearance bargain!

 

Tows very nicely loaded or empty - a great trailer for someone available at 1/3 of the new build-cost!

Bespoke custom made trailer to fit a standard Caterham 7 to include:

Lockable tyre rack (for carrying upto 8x spares)

High-grip tyre bed

lift-out galvanised ramps, stow away very neatly & securely

Manual loading winch with new web strap

Fully braked on all 4 wheels with parking brake

Spare full size wheel/tyre 165 R13

4x jack-leg points for optional feet (not included), assist loading the trailer without having it attached to a vehicle

That looks like a bargain Matt, and wouldn't you get an SV on it as well?

In which case it may increase the market for it as trailers for SV's aren't easy to come by.

I would need to take advice from a SV or CSR owner as to the rear axle width of their cars - and then I can advise whether it will also fit the 163-165cm max bed width. It might be tight though as it was custom made using an S3 as the template with a few inches to spare. Its a great trailer though, well made, and offers reliable 4-wheel towing for less than most other trailers out there.

as far as I know - it was custom built using all Bradley trailer components by a trailer specialist in Lincolnshire. The garage that supplied my car on the trailer said it cost about £2k to comission & build - I particularly like the ramp stowage, it all works very well for someone needing a trailer on a budget.

My SV measures 1.68m from tyre wall to tyre wall with 6.5" rears.

Yep - based on that I would say it is too tight for an SV - 1.65 max bed, any more and you will be driving over the tie-down hooks on the side. Of course it could be quite easily adapted, but I think its best to assume this is strictly a trailer for a Series 3 and earlier. Thanks for confirming SV rear axle measurements.

Thanks Ian - yes it is priced to sell, and open to offers this week (if buyer doesn't need delivery or the optional extras listed). It will do someone a turn, but my property is Canterbury sale is immanent and I loose the spare garage space shortly - so it has to go. I thought i would give first refusal to 7 owners through Blatchat before going for a Pistonheads and ebay ad at the weekend to move it on.

 

May consider useful SWAPs or p/x's to potential buyers: (warning all of the following will sound very Dell-boy)

 

The only sizeable item I'm after is a KTM bike for green-laning, and maybe a Brompton cycle for commuting to work. Some decent MTB's or Road bikes may be considered as I like my cycling., I am also looking for a used Smart Car or Toyota IQ for parking at the office week days.

 

I have a list of bits I could also use for the seven also, such as:

- car cover

- half hood

- half doors

- hood bag

- tillet tonneau cover

- reliable K-series starter motor for my brother's car

 

.... if anyone has any of these surplus to requirements I will discount the price of the trailer in a p/x deal on the trailer.
