Cookie Monster
Spotted on the M25 tonight, dark blue, l/h/d 13plate. Never seen one on the road before - what a fantastic looking & sounding car. When we got onto the M40 went past me at a fair lick - wondered if it was an AM owned car? Didn't know there were only 101 made & they cost c£330,
Token Jock
Good spot Most of the AM cars have plates starting KX. The price is certainly hefty for what is a rebodied V12 Vantage, even more so when realise that the £330k is ex VAT so it is nearly £400k
Cookie Monster
And it was a KX plated car which is what made me think an AM owned car
Mankee
There was one of these at the Marham trackday recently. Strange-looking thing. The owner was an Aston Martin man through and through, as he has several and was tracking a stripped DB7 with his mates. Fair play! Frying Pan
That one is the DB7 based Zagato, which was built right at the end of the DB7 production at Bloxham. However, they vacated Bloxham to get to Gaydon before they were all finished, so the final cars were actually finished at Gaydon. I think Cookie Monster saw one of these: http://motoren.files.wordpress.com/2011/05/03-aston-v12zagato.jpg Which is a much better looking car. And the noise... 🥰
Cookie Monster
You are indeed correct - that's exactly what it was - a thing of beauty
