Phil
This seems to be the thing with Lotus so do any of you run bigger wheelsat the rear, what sizes and why? Thanks Phil
Budjuggler
205 at back and 185 on front. Don't think the wider tyre will fit the cycle rings
sjmmarsh
245 on the back, 195 on the front. CSRs have them as standard! Steve

Area Representative Golf Juliet Tango Posted April 30, 2013 Area Representative Share Posted April 30, 2013 Quoting ruff seven: I guess he means 13" front and 15" rears Exactly my thought. It's diameter question not one on width.
Johnty Lyons
I run 14 in front and 13 in rears but rears are 8 inch so with profile change diameter is same front and back
Phil
A lot of owner seem to go for the smaller wheel for a better and cheaper range of tyres, I know loads of you run wider tyres at the back to front, the question was to find out if you run a different wheel size front to rear, I was expecting a larger rear wheel to smaller front but if bigger at the front works. So if you have a mix of sizes, does it improve things like getting the power down for example and how does it klook on the car?
Johnty Lyons
Wheel size is not the issue, its the overall diameter of the tyre, as the width goes up (rear) if the profile stays the same the dia would increase , so to equal things up I came down a rim size. Overall therefore the wheel/tyre combo is same size front and back. Looks 100% IMHO.
