Mike C.
Living Control Multi-Room Audio System (MRS) - Event Model With 6 Keypads and connections here here I had it professionally installed some years ago to provide audio around the house (from up to 6 sources). It was recently professionally removed to be replaced with Sonos. Although older technology, it works very well, and more reliable than Sonos. £280 (fraction of what it cost new). Frying Pan
Although older technology, it works very well, and more reliable than Sonos. So why change what's wrong with the Sonos setup?
Mike C.
Sonos is quite clever but relies on the internet and wifi. Where I live we get a fairly patchy service, so not 100% reliable. Living Control is normally traditional hard-wired and totally reliable - digital v analogue
Frying Pan
Only need Internet for streamed music. We use a NAS drive which holds our iTunes library, and the Sonos units create their own wireless mesh. It may be worth calling their tech support - they are excellent in my experience
