CaterBram
Following on from a post in Chit Chat. Does Class 7 within our championship as a catch all fall under "Modified Series Production" ? I think it does not as it does specify a reverse is required ? From Blue Book - Transmission 10.8.1. For Road-Going Series Production, Road-Going Specialist Production Cars, the reverse gear must remain operable at all times. 10.8.2. For Modified Series Production, Modified Specialist Production Cars, Hill Climb Super Sports, Sports Libre and Racing Cars, reverse gear is not required. Simon.Rogers1
This is one for myself Mark and Matthew to check out. I have a feeling it may be an oversight on our part. A couple or three years ago there was a big overhaul of the regs proposed by the MSA. Most of it if not all was approved and then at the last minuite after the regs had been submitted recinded. This was the same time that in general MSA classes List 1B tyres were introduced to all road going classes and we were to be forced to allow them. I need to discuss and check it out but have a feeling it should now be removed. To late for this years regs - but I do not personaly have any issue. CaterBram
Thought that was the case, tripped across a blue book amendment in 2011.
