irrotational Posted April 15, 2013 Share Posted April 15, 2013 slightly random request but I keep my old/illegal tyres on a spare set of rims for trackday use...anyway due to my "over exuberance" on corner exits one of my tyres is much more worn than the other 3... Mankee Posted April 16, 2013 Share Posted April 16, 2013 I took off a pair of 205/60R13 A048s and a pair of 185/60R13 A032s last week. There's tread left on them but they'd gone rock hard as they were 10 and 12 years old, respectively! If I can retrieve them from my mates' tyre shed, you can have them for nowt. I personally think they are fit for the bin but might be ideal for shredding. PS. They could be rescuable with £20-worth of tyre softener and a paintbrush.
