changing headlights

Both my sealed headlights are cracked and need replacing, are the halogen replacements originally from somthing i can go to my local car parts shop and buy?

Surley they are not made soley for caterham!.

Hi,

 

I have converted my 7" headlamps (the larger ones) with a standard reflector.

I bought mine actually at a Triumph dealer. 7" are used on a lot of older cars like a Spitfire ect.

 

It is a simple conversion... just open the headlamp, use some pliers to remove the clips holding the reflectors and clip the new one in place.

The result is quite good, never had so much light in front of my car. I also put in some "cool blue" H4 bulbs, so the light now has some xenon look.
