GetCarter Posted November 17, 2002 Share Posted November 17, 2002 I'm thinking of taking the R500 to the Highlands of Scotland for a few months - and am after some suggestions as to the best wet tyre. I'll need some serious grip, and ability to shift water - or I'll end up in a loch. (Not so good.) I'd also keep the spare rims and tyres for wet trackdays, and swap the ACB10's I currently use on track for slicks - so I guess that's a consideration. I've got avon turbospeeds as wets not on recomendation from doug newman, they seem ok, though less grip than cr500s in damp rather than wet conditions... i think i'd go for cr500s next time Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
