combine Posted April 13, 2013 Share Posted April 13, 2013 Interesting thread , always managed to get carbed 7 through by twiddling fueling setting screw but with new tb's there aren't any screws but asked Nick Potter if he did mot's and he said - ' I can get her through ' so not worried now . bluespeed Posted April 14, 2013 Author Share Posted April 14, 2013 Ben, Suggest you seal the exhaust first with a new gasket from local factors; block to manifold, also use Loctite 5920 copper silicone around the pipes going into the collector. Then get her hot and then retighten all manifold nuts just to make sure. The hard bit is to find an MOT centre who are prepared to take 20 mins to get the car under the limits with the engine nice and hot.
