Graham Perry
I am contemplating fitting a rear anti roll car, on my 1990 de dion car along with a few other changes this winter. I may also be fitting much wider rear tyres. Does anyone know how wide a tyre you can fit before it risks fouling the anti roll bar ?
Rob Walker
Depends on what offset you choose and the type of RARB you fit. Running with the -ET18 you may just get away with 7" on the rears, with the Caterham upper mounted type. The Caterham lower mounted type or the juno/freestyle 9" should be possible. Graham Perry
Cheers Rob I knew it was quite tight but couldn't find refernce to it anywhere. I may need to fit 7.5's x 13's so I will either have to try the Freestyle or make my own.
stevefoster
7" were fine on mine. 8.5's meant ditching the rear ARB. The car was faster after it was removed... better traction out of bends. /Steve My racing pics, 7 DIY, race prep.
