ZF Limited slip differential for sale.

This is the complete unit including outer casing to accept the standard splined Caterhasm drive shafts, crown wheel and pinion and front 4 bolt flange to link with the standard Caterham propshaft.

It was stripped, had the ramp angles changed to race spec and then rebuilt by Road and Race Transmissions in November 2010 which is less than 2500 road miles ago. The invoice is availabe for inspection.

Being a 3.92:1 final drive rahther than the 3.64:1 ratio, it shortens the gearing of a 5 speed gearbox, making a road car more accelerative. Alternatively, if mated to a Caterham 6 speed gearbox it would be ideal for sprinting/hillclimbing and the like.
