Julian Thompson Posted November 14, 2002 Share Posted November 14, 2002 Because I have lots of spare time and money 😬 (I wish) I have decided to arse about and try and make a carbon fibre centre tunnel. Now, if anyone has done this and can SELL me one before I glue myself to random bits of my garage then for Chrissakes pipe up now. Assuming that my audience is staring blankly back, I will begin by asking whether I ought to first try and make a glassfibre mould round my armrest, before making a replica armrest in glassfibre that I can apply a suitable surface finish to. Then I'd take the proper mould from this and then make my tunnel, yes? Any easier ways? Will this work or will I end up calling "Rent-a-Noose"? If you are serious, I will tell you offline how it can be done, and if demand can be generated, make a batch.
