Dampers and bearings

Will change the dampers during the winter (and adding half a wishbone or two).

Should I stay with rubber bushes or go for spherical bearings?

If so will they fit exactly in brackets or do they need shimming to stop them moving sideways on the fixing bolt? *confused* *confused* *confused* *confused*

I tried Avo's spherical jointed dampers on my live axle 7.

I liked them. It didn't make the ride harsh at all. It felt more responsive.

On the live axle they allow the axle to more in one wheel bump without trying to bend the damper via the rubber bush over it's length and telescope at the same time. Something they don't like doing.
