Julian Bradley Posted November 10, 2002 Share Posted November 10, 2002 Hasn't happened to me (I' don't think.....) but I have heard the occasional horror tale of the finite life of 7s before tin worm gets it. & as my (first) wife'll never let me buy another one, I intend to keep the painted, oiley, waxoiled and hammerited X flow I have. elie boone Posted November 10, 2002 Share Posted November 10, 2002 Julian, Whenever i have to replace a rivet i spray Terroson ML spray ( aerosol ) in to the tube and i use Terroson protective wax on all parts that are exposed but out of sight.
