the.vet
As part of my winter tinkering I'm removing the speakers from my rear bulkhead (I didn't put them in!!!). Thinking of bonding some Ali sheet over the hole. Does anyone have any spare black carpet to recover the hole? Don't really fancy recovering the whole area as will be covered with storage net eventually. Ta, Graeme
revilla
I ordered some black gel-backed car carpet off eBay to make a floor mat for the Caterham (to carpet the driver's side lowered floor to match the passenger's side standard floor), must have misread the advert because I've now got a roll that looks large enough to do my bedroom! What size piece do you want? Let me have your address and I'll see if I can cut you a piece off. Might be a bit busy over the next few days so may take me a few days to sort it out. the.vet
Cheers! That's great. I'll measure up but it's not much size wise. No rush either, got a whole winter to fix it! Graeme
Area Representative Golf Juliet Tango Posted December 23, 2012 Area Representative Share Posted December 23, 2012 Find a local exhibition or staging company or exhibition centre (bound to be a choice in Edinburgh) and you will get offcuts of (cheap) carpet. An almost endless supply; no reason to pay for this stuff.
revilla
OK just drop me the details when you're ready and I'll let you have some.
