TomB
Im just wondering - why do all my original brake hoses (which Im planning on replacing) have yellow tape on them? Each individual pipe, flexi or solid, has the same yellow tape. As its an ex-racer, is it a scrutinering thing in a similar fashion to the yellow taped battery earth? Area Representative Paul Richards Posted November 14, 2012 Area Representative Share Posted November 14, 2012 Tom Probably had a part number on originally. Yellow tape on battery lead is an indication of where to cut it in the event of emergency. Don't think you'd want to do this with brake pipes. 😬
The Pikey
Brake pipes from Caterham have a yellow tube on them showing a part number.
