Interesting times.. I’ve just agreed to buy a new house I essentially can’t quite afford and I’m afraid to say I’m looking at selling the Caterham (deposit requirements). I’ll finally have a lovely powered, well lit garage next to the house, with naff all to store in it 😬

 

I will be generating a PH advert over the weekend and adding plenty of photos.. I'll link to it here when I do.

 

It’s a much loved, slightly modified 1.8k from 2000. It runs completely without issue, passes the MOT when the CAT is hot and I have all the software and cables for anybody who wants them too.

 

Car was previously sold ‘used’ by Caterham once in it’s life. I’m not sure if it was a kit or factory build, but I’m trying to determine that asap.

 

 

1.8k series, 160 bhp with RR graph from Emerald

6-speed gearbox, upgraded by Caterham

Emerald ECU with switchable maps (firmware upgraded to latest last year)

I service it twice a year regardless of mileage requirement, and I did the clutch and CRB change.

 

It's a lotus blue with a silver stripe up the middle, and it's reg is W488 XGO. It has some tatty bits (light alloy oxidisation on one side panel under the paint, cockpit area has suffered from some idiot hitting it with their belt 😬, couple of stone chips as you might expect from a car that has been used rather than stored and ignored)

 

 

I'd like to see £14,000.

 

 

In addition to this, I also have 2x spare wheels with R888 tyres (enough tread for a track day, probably not for passing an MOT)
